By accessing FaceTrue services and utilizing our search network, you certify that you are an authorized user acting in compliance with your local, national, and international laws.
- Permitted Use: Access is granted solely for personal privacy audits, digital footprint research, missing persons locating, and academic purposes.
- Account Responsibility: You are responsible for all activity conducted through your terminal and user credentials.
- Geographic Scope: Our indexing services cover global public social media, news data, and publicly searchable web pages but do not include data from mainland China (PRC).
- Eligibility: You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to authorize a contract for digital services.
02 // Data Source Disclosure
FaceTrue utilizes advanced facial recognition algorithms to retrieve information across the public internet. Our data sources include:
- Public Social Platforms: Publicly visible profile pictures and posts across global social media ecosystems.
- News & Media: Open-access news reports, articles, and multimedia archives available worldwide.
- Public Archives: OSINT-standard records, historical digital archives, and public web signages.
- Exclusion of Private Data: We do not index password-protected, private-by-design, or explicitly gated content.
03 // Prohibited Activities
FaceTrue maintains a zero-tolerance policy for the misuse of its services. Violation of these rules will result in immediate service termination:
- Harassment: Utilizing search results to facilitate stalking, bullying, or threats against any individual.
- Illegal Access: Attempting to use the service to gain unauthorized access to private digital systems or physical locations.
- Automated Scraping: The use of bots, scrapers, or scripts to mass-extract or repurpose data from FaceTrue systems.
- Minor Protection: Any attempt to utilize the service on imagery involving minors is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of service and deletion of the associated account.
04 // Data Accuracy & Liability
Our distributed search network utilizes probabilistic neural matching. Users must exercise independent judgment when referencing search results.
- Probabilistic Nature: Matches are identified based on facial landmark alignment ratios. False positives may occur due to similar structures, lighting, or low resolution.
- Informational Purpose: Results are provided 'As-Is' for audit reference. FaceTrue is not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the FCRA or similar acts.
- Third-Party Sources: We do not offer warranties regarding the completeness or accuracy of archival data hosted on third-party platforms.
05 // Resource Allocation (Credits & Subscriptions)
The FaceTrue service operates on a resource-balanced credit system to maintain high-speed access availability for all users.
- Credit Utility: Credits represent system compute resources allocated to your account. They possess no external monetary value.
- Tier Maintenance: Subscription tiers (Pro, Ultra) grant specific priority access and monthly credit allocations.
- Auto-Refresh: Monthly allocations refresh at the start of each billing cycle. Unused credits do not roll over to the next period unless explicitly stated in your subscription tier.
- Price Adjustments: FaceTrue reserves the right to modify resource costs based on global compute demand and market conditions.
06 // Intellectual Property & Proprietary Technology
All neural architectures, search algorithms, recognition engines, and interface designs are the exclusive property of FaceTrue.
- Non-Reverse Engineering: Users may not attempt to deconstruct, clone, or simulate the FaceTrue core technology engines.
- Trademark Usage: The term 'FaceTrue' and associated branding may only be used with express written authorization or partnership agreements.
07 // System Stability & Maintenance
FaceTrue strives to provide 24/7 access, but technical maintenance is necessary to ensure service integrity.
- Scheduled Downtime: We reserve the right to perform system upgrades with prior notification via official channels.
- Service Interruption: In the event of a security threat or system instability, we may suspend active sessions to protect user data and system core.
- User Notifications: Major system changes or tier adjustments will be communicated through your dashboard or in-app notifications.
08 // Jurisdictional Compliance & Legal Requests
While we prioritize user privacy, we operate within a framework of legal compliance.
- Compliance: FaceTrue is committed to operating in accordance with valid legal mandates and regulatory requirements within our jurisdictions.
- Cooperation: We reserve the right to cooperate with verified international regulatory bodies in accordance with due legal process.
- Conflict Resolution: Any legal challenges regarding system use must be conducted within FaceTrue's registered jurisdiction.
09 // Account Security & Responsibility
Users are expected to maintain strict security practices for their account access.
- Security Audits: FaceTrue reserves the right to audit account activity patterns to detect fraudulent, unauthorized, or automated usage.
- Credentials Protection: You are strictly prohibited from sharing your login credentials. Users are fully responsible for all activity under their account.
- Breach Notification: If you suspect your user credentials have been compromised, you must initiate an immediate account lockdown and contact support.
